The History of the Gut Gollin Estate:

The historical records of the Gut Gollin Estate mention a manor located outside the village right back in the year 1375. The Grifke brothers were, at that time, the lords of the manor.
It’s likely that in the following century the estate as well as the village of Gollin became the property of the Holtzendorf family of Vietmannsdorf.
For many centuries the estate belonged to Gollin until 1967 when it became part of Vietmannsdorf.
For many years after that the Gollin Estate was used by many cooperatives and after 2001 it became a farm  school. In 2004 the farm school was closed and the estate put up for sale. At the beginning of 2004 the Ernst family bought the Gut Gollin Estate, moved from Cologne and started to convert and rebuild  the estate and buildings.

Our company philosophy:

Nowadays individuality is very often neglected, even forgotten, and mass tourism has become the norm: so we want to take things in the opposite direction.
Individuality, security and a real „home“ – especially on holiday – that’s what we mean when we say a relaxing holiday. Quite literally to „live“ on holiday, to have a sense of wellbeing, to be spoilt and to relax while enjoying fantastic countryside. Discover the Schorfheide - and Berlin and Potsdam can also easily be visited in a day. We have 10 holiday apartments (each one is 50 m²), all of which are comfortably furnished  on 2 floors.

What does the Gut Gollin Estate have to offer?

  • The Gollin Estate consists of several beautiful brick-like buildings, which are typical for the Uckermark area, with extensive grounds.
  • Watch the game right up close as you rarely otherwise see it: a Red deer farm with approx. 200 animals, as well as Fallow and Roe deer on roughly 50 hectares.
  • From the comfort of the beer-garden, you can witness the arrival of the Red deer calves in May/June and later in September/October observe the rutting season.
  • We offer a unique position – right in the middle of the Schorfheide Chorin biosphere reserve, surrounded by forests and lakes (see the location details), 45 minutes from the centre of Berlin and 1 hour away from Potsdam.
  • Hunting and fishing can be arranged
  • Child-friendly
  • There are many different things to see and do
  • We provide stabling  - so that guests can bring their own horses (numerous bridal paths) - and a paddock
  • There is a wide range of things to see and do – it’s just waiting for you to  discover it all
We look forward to meeting you!
