Food and Drink (work in progress)

We have planned and are just starting to set up a cafe/restaurant seating 60 inside and a beer-garden which will also seat  60 guests.
From here guests will look straight onto a paddock with Red deer where they will be able to watch the animals while eating.
The restaurant will be decorated with a collection of taxidermy including bear, lion, elefant, buffalo etc as well as displaying animal and hunting wall-paintings.
We shall be offering good quality food including game and fish dishes (classic and modern cuisine,) barbecue specialities, a wide range of cakes and gateaux as well as an attractive drinks and wine list.
While sitting in the beer-garden guests will be able to enjoy the arrival of the calves In May/June and the rutting season in September/October .

We are also planning various events such as wine tastings, cookery courses, musical and cabaret events, theatre tours and themed-buffets. St. Hubert’s  concerts, exhibitions of hunting art, stag-calling competitions, farmer’s markets etc.
