It is extremely important to select the right fence posts. A fence is only sturdy and durable as long as the posts are anchored securely in the ground. After carrying out a lot of research, we finally settled on high pressure treated wooden posts which we saw used on a 15 year old fence at a deer farmer’s in Belgium. Despite being 15 years old, they looked as if they had been driven into the ground the previous day.
The line posts measure approx. 13 x 350cm – either pointed or unpointed depending on the ground.
The box posts measure approx. 20 x 370cm and are pointed.
Delivery time for large quantities is approx. 4-6 weeks.

Woven wire fencing |
We only use woven wire fencing with continuous horizontal and vertical wires with the knot made of a separate piece of wire.
Experience has shown us that the best fencing to use is 17/15/203, wire diameter 2.5mm with 17 horizontal wires and with the vertical wires spaced 15cm apart, 203cm high.
The woven wire fencing is available up to a height of 240cm.

We supply farm gates in widths of 400cm, 500cm and 600cm. They are all 180 cm high and, allowing for 20cm ground clearance, have a final height of 200cm.

| We construct purely mechanical deer crushes - making electric or hydraulic equipment unnecessary. Red deer and Fallow deer can be restrained in this crush without the need for sedation. |
